I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but they could use an upgrade. The service was friendly and attentive, making our family stay enjoyable. The location was breathtaking, perfect for a relaxing holiday, although cleanliness was a bit lacking. The dining options were good, but more variety for breakfast would be appreciated.

The hotel has a spectacular location with views of Rosses Point and convenient amenities, making it an ideal spot to explore the northwest of Ireland. The rooms, however, were old and dusty with a noticeable smell of mold and sewage, which affected our overall comfort during the stay.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms overlooked the sea and Coney Island, but unfortunately, they were old, dusty, and had an unpleasant smell of mold and sewage. The setup with three beds, including shabby fold-out options, was not ideal. We encountered issues with flickering light fittings and a buzzing clock radio.
Service
6.0
The staff seemed trained in customer service, but there were incidents of them entering the room without proper notification. Overall, they tried to be helpful and accommodating, though some improvements are needed in ensuring guest privacy and comfort.
Location
8.0
The location is simply spectacular, offering stunning views of Rosses Point and a charming village ambiance. However, there were slight inconveniences like issues with the dining area and the lack of a surprised reaction from the night porter when informed of concerns.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was below expectations, offering limited choices and average quality that did not match the hotel's setting. It was particularly challenging for guests needing to leave early. More variety and improvement in quality are necessary to enhance the overall experience.
Facilities

The facilities were basic and did not stand out as exceptional.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room had a great view of the sea and beach, but it was disappointing not to have air-conditioning in a supposedly 4-star hotel. The lack of a lift to my room was also an inconvenience. On the bright side, the spacious room and lovely view made it somewhat enjoyable.

Rooms
7.0
The room overlooked the sea, allowing us to enjoy the sound of the waves, seagulls, and beautiful sunsets. However, the room was very warm without air-conditioning and somewhat dated.

Location
7.0
The location was beautiful, offering lovely views, although it could use more lighting for a brighter ambiance. Currently being renovated, it has the potential to be a great function room.
Dining
9.0
The dining experience was excellent, with a good selection of cereals, fruit, and a well-prepared fry-up. The service was prompt, and we never had to wait for a table, despite it being very busy.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were decent, though it would have been more comfortable if air-conditioning was available in the rooms. The ongoing renovations indicate potential improvements in the future.
